Jazz Hipster J9940W Surround Sound @ TwistedMods
"Altogether, this is one of the best compact systems I’ve ever seen for home audio or PC audio. Now given, you can’t beat a set of two-12s and some huge speakers, but for the consumer who wants to find a pre-built system or great quality speakers; this is really the way to go. I can assure you that you will in no way whatsoever be disappointed in this 5.1 Home Theater System, it’s worth every hefty penny out of your pocket."

Thermalright SLK-947U @ SystemCooling
"The heat sink we're going to look at today, the Thermalright SLK-947U, is in fact the long-awaited update to the SLK-900U, and the changes made to the unit are not only meant to minimize compatibility problems with AMD systems, they also improve compatibility with Intel P4 systems as well."

Everglide Ricochet gaming surface review @ PC-Extreme.co.uk
"At first glance the most noticeable thing about the mat is its size, at only 2.32mm in height it is a very thin mouse mat, the picture below shows just how thin, its only about the thickness of a standard door key, the size pays off well for people like me, I only have a small computer desk there for with other mouse mats (such as the Giganta) I’ve had to take it away when not playing games otherwise my keyboard wobbles when typing which is rather irritating."

ASRock K7S8XE Motherboard Review @ RipNet-UK
"Today's test subject is an ASRock K7S8XE motherboard. ASRock are a fairly new company, at least to our shores anyway; although they have had boards on sale in the US for a while now they have only recently started to appear in UK stores. However, just because you may have not heard of them before don't discount them from your want lists just yet as they have received some good reviews, particularly getting good marks for stability. Also, when I tell you that they are a subsidiary of Asus you may start to take notice. Finally, they're very reasonably priced. The board up for review is a mere £45 and when you see the amount of features packed in you'll see why that price is so good."

Cooltech Idrastation Liquid Cooling System Video Review #345 @ 3dGameMan
"The Cooltech Idrastation Liquid Cooling System is an all-in-one solution but installation does require some case modification. Unlike normal liquid cooling setups which take up valuable space inside the case, this product is external. Overall this product is very well built and offers excellent performance. Watch the Video to find out more..."

Information revealed on Intel's New Desktop Control Center Software @ CoolTechZone
"As many Intel fans know that Intel is set to release their Desktop Control Center Software, which will measure system settings such as FSB (Front Side Bus), voltage settings, temperatures as well as other crucial settings. As of right now Intel is using IAM (Intel Active Monitor) Technology on their motherboards, which essentially does the same things as Intel’s future release of its Desktop Control Center. The only difference between IAM and Desktop Control Center is the fact that Desktop Control Center does not function inside the BIOS (Binary Input Output System)."

JetAudio iAudio CW300 Digital Audio Player Retraction @ Computer Critics
"The manufacturer contacted us after the iAudio CW300 review went live on 08/20/2003 due to a comment in the review regarding the CW300's ability to play MP3's with bit rates higher than 320 kbps. After further testing, we at Computer Critics could not duplicate the problem we first experienced which leads us to believe it was an issue of human error rather than a limitation of the device. Therefore we are retracting the the statement "Testing also revealed that the CW300 cannot play MP3 files over 320 kbps." and would like to issue an apology to the manufacturer."

GeIL PC4200 Dual Channel Kit review @ ClubOC
"The memory speeds just keep getting faster and faster. At this rate we should see DDR600 in no time. There have been a few cases of individuals overclocking their memory to DDR600 levels, but I think the time is short until we see DDR600 available. Until that happens you are going to have to "settle" for PC4200 or DDR533 memory. Geil has been making fast memory for a while now, and currently they are among the fastest in stock speed. Geil was kind enough to send over a dual channel kit of their fastest memory."

24 Port Switch Case MOD @ PCExtreme

Thermal Paste Comparison @ OCA
"It is good to know that the Ultra II is not electrically conductive. This makes it safe to spread over video card GPUs and Northbridge chips. It would be dangerous to spread conductive paste over video cards GPUs and Northbridge chips because if even just a tad amount touches electrical bridges, shortage will occur. This has happened to me before. I was lucky my video card didn't end up cooked."
