The wheelchair racer, who won four gold medals in London 2012, is in social housing because his income is based mainly on sponsorship and appearance fees - making him ineligible for a mortgage as they are not seen as reliable sources of income.
Roundshaw Homes in Wallington told the father-of-three they are unable to find him an appropriate home because they do not want to be accused of favouritism.
It means the athlete, who is unable to use his legs because of a spine injury he has had his entire life, has to drag himself upstairs to use the bathroom.

This is absolutely ridiculous that there aren't enough houses to warrant for disabled people. Though there is a waiting list including other disabled people - just because he is a paralympic competitor, why should he be pushed to the front?
Opinions?
