ok, i will admit my ignorance too... props to prox for admitting he didnt know... i've been wondering what this was since DD posted it...

Excuse us for our ignorance but is 'Sick' good or bad, never sure what you guys are using as slang these days. In comparison to most other people running the same kind of set-up to mine, my score seems average, in that I have not overclocked or changed any settings yet.

Have not installed quake yet, but when I do, I will post the results for you.

hey! this thing requires way too much effort! :D

i shall have to play with it when i am more awake. as it is i am about to go take a nap!

uk> Sick, as in insanely good.
You mention a comparison to other setups like yours... how many people really have a setup like yours yet?!? I'm having a hard enough time finding the XP 1800+ at a decent price (meaning, under top dollar), much less a decent motherboard to run everything.

As far as upping your score, what drivers are you using? Are you overclocking at all?

Smiss> What effort are you talking about?!? Downloading and installing? I know I have a severe drought of free time lately, but even I can accomodate that.

It really doesn't take any effort. Download. Install. Run. Read your score.

The next set of ATI drivers should give a pretty hefty boost to the scores too.

I am using the NVIDIA Display Driver for Windows 2000/XP version 22.80, 10/26/2001. Not overclocked at all, only just installed XP yesterday, and to tell you the truth have not even looked into it yet, any information you could give me would help.

Thanks

Sean

Downloading, right now. DD, didn't realize the new Detonator beta was out, so I upgraded....I'll be back to let you know what I get. :)
