The big story this off-season is obviously where QB Peyton Manning will end up next season. Let's hear everyone's prediction. Right now I'm thinking he might end up on the Cardinals with Larry Fitzgerald. Would make for a phenomenal combo.

To be honest I think he is done. He may still not be fully healed, and who knows if he will be. I don't think he should risk his stature and respect by continuing like some other greats did after their time was up (Brett Favre in mind). I'm not saying he is done talent wise, as I'm sure he is still a great QB, but who knows after not having played in a year, and maybe even longer. He would be a great for a team that had nothing else to lose, but for building, he is not the answer.

I could definitely see this being the case. Being from Indiana, I was actually never a Manning fan at all, but not seeing him play this year actually forced me to realize that I love the guy. I would understand and respect his decision to retire, but if he does play another season, I would love to watch.

I have to agree with Guardian, I think Peyton Manning's career in the NFL is sadly over. There have been nasty rumors of Peyton's inability to throw the ball very effectively so far.

“I think it’s unrealistic to assume (he can return). He can’t throw the ball,” Lombardi said. “I’ve talked to people who’ve caught the ball for him. He can’t throw the ball to his left. He can’t throw the ball across his body, because he doesn’t feel it. People who catch the ball for him say he doesn’t really have velocity on the ball yet.”

One also needs to consider the fact that Peyton is a father. I'm sure that he sees the importance of keeping physically fit for his children, and he may not want to risk his long-term health for the sake of playing another couple seasons in the NFL.

I agree. I dont think he will want to end his awesome career with another team. He's been with the Colts organization for so long I couldnt picture himself going anywhere else. Too bad he had to get injured like that though, I'd love to see him play for another season.

He will play in Indy or retire. One of the two.

There is absolutely no chance Peyton continues to play in Indianapolis, Irsay has made sure of that. Everything we've seen so far in this off-season has shown a distant relationship between the two. Irsay has already fired everyone that Peyton trusted in Indianapolis, who is to say he won't turn his back on Peyton next?

Irsay will make sure that the Colt's will draft the "new, hot young quarterback of the Century" in Andrew Luck, and Indianapolis isn't big enough for two starting caliber quarterbacks.

Call me crazy but I really do think he'll stick with the COlts. I just have this feeling that it's not quite over there.

I have no idea, but it would be sad to see him go out the way he has. He's had a great career though, so no shame in retiring if he does have to.

Honestly, despite all his talk of feeling out of place and discomforted in Indy, I think he'll be staying right there. I mean where would he go? True, he's better than 90% of the QB out there. But even with that, most of the contending teams are pretty much set at his position

I heard a rumor that he'll be on the Jets and I'd love to see that. Sanchez is a overrated in my opinion and I think Jets with Peyton could be a great team.

I don't know if the Jets have the cap-space that would allow for such a signing. I would imagine that Manning would command a very high salary, something that the Jets can't afford as of now. In addition, would Manning even want to go to New York? In comparison to his previous coaches, Rex Ryan is an absolute chaotic mess. Is that something that Manning can, or even willing to deal with?

As a football fan, even I admit I would like that. If there is anyone I know would hate that idea, it's Tom Brady lol

So far, the Manning boys have cost him two superbowls and an AFC championship. The last thing the Patriots want is one of them IN their division.
