We may have sold key players but we have brought talented replacements in aswell. We have 2 sensational talents in Depay and Martial aswell as Scweinsteiger, Schniderlin, etc. Last season, our whole team was "new" so we type of struggled, this year we are looking stronger, in my opinion. De Gea in net with many backup plans for him if he gets injured or something, our defence is improving, we have many options for defence in Blind, Smalling, Rojo, Jones, Carrick, Darmian, etc, our midfield is better than ever with Schwi, Schi, Mata, Herrera, etc and we have 2 really young talents in Depay and Martial aswell as Rooney (who I personally, am not a fan of).

As for Chelsea, they have an old and finished defence and a lunatic manager, Chelsea's defeat last night and then Mourinho losing it in the post-match explains why they're sitting near relegation. I doubt Chelsea will make it to top 4 this year.

Aguero seems on fire though, after yesterday, too good.

An win against Arsenal today, and we're topping the table again. #GloryGloryManUnited!
 
Quite surprised actually with United's performance recently. They have been quite good, almost the same United that everyone was scared of during the Ferguson era. Not too sure what the hell is happening with Chelsea anyone, its beyond embarrassing. I still think we can make it to top 4 but it will require a lot of changes. Depay and Martial were definitely great signings for United

Not even sure anymore to be honest. I still think that Mourinho is the right person for the job, it's just how long is it going to take for this all to turn around

Today's match results have to reinforce the questions about what is happening at Chelsea; as I said over on another board while live-blogging the match after Benteke's goal...

I'm scared about the players to be honest. Is hazard going to leave us? Rumours everywhere. I have to say liverpool played well that game, the first time in a long time. Klopp was definately the right person to bring into the club

Definately. They got a new manager today as well but I don't think they can be rescued. Selling their two best players - Benteke & Delph was a mistake and it's hard to ever get players to replace those two

They were talking about that on the NBCSN broadcast today; given the past history of new managers coming into relegation-threatened teams, Remi Garde's got a lot of work to do to keep them up and I'm not too sure he'll succeed.

If Jurgen Klopp's done anything for us thus far, its' that he's brought back a confidence that I haven't seen in these Reds' in quite some time, almost like someone stuck the team into an electrical outlet and then released them onto the pitch. I mean, case in point: Phillipe Coutinho. Hadn't scored in 8 PL matches or so.....turns around and nets a brace Saturday; if Rodgers' were still around, I'm honestly not sure that that would've happened.

As for Chelsea...after Ramires scored that first goal, it looked like they simply went back into park-the-bus mode and figured, "its' Liverpool, they won't score on us...not at the Bridge." *sarcastic eyeroll*

Which means that unfortunately he won't even be able to be in the stadium when we play Stoke. The FA are stupid biased ******* to be honest. Wenger can complain and say what **** he wants to say about referees, Mourinho - not one word.
 
When you're teams losing 5-1 but you still got more important things to do. Wenger had a photoshoot for a magazine :lol:

Daily Express: Swansea Set To Replace Garry Monk With Brendan Rodgers

Monk will report for duty at the club's training ground on Tuesday for talks where his exit could be confirmed.

It will mark a spectacular fall from grace for Monk. He saved the club from relegation after replacing Michael Laudrup in February 2014 before guiding Swansea to a best ever Premier League finish of eighth last season.

But the wheels have come off this season, with the manner of Saturday's 3-0 home defeat to Leicester appearing to prove the final straw.

Chairman Huw Jenkins wants Rodgers, who led Swansea to the Premier League three years ago, to head back to Wales for a second spell in charge.

The pair have remained in close contact despite Rodgers leaving for Merseyside in the summer of 2012.

Rodgers, out of work since being sacked by Liverpool in October, was thought to be keen on taking a break from management.

But the chance to re-establish himself at a club where he remains well loved by the Welsh club's supporters could prove too good an opportunity to turn down.

Monk, who ironically was Swansea's captain under Rodgers, is due to receive a pay-off of around £3million having signed a new three-year contract only back in July.

Then he was being touted as a future England manager. Now he is certain to be relieved of his duties.

FWIW, @Santa I think they jumped the gun as well, but the way the Premier League is, its' all-but-become a game of "what have you done for me lately?" and he hadn't done much, unfortunately.
 
Looks like Mourinho joined him. For me I'm not too sure whether it was the right or wrong decision. As much as I love him, the way we played in that 3-1 win against Sunderland shows that the team play much better without him

Arsenal winning 2-0 right now against Man City [Walcott, Giroud]
 
How many of you thinking that Arsenal will go all the way this season to finally win the league after the gap of 12 years?
