Two men have been arrested on suspicion of endangerment of an aircraft after RAF Typhoon jets were scrambled to escort a passenger plane over the UK.

I was at work when I read about this; basically the plane was headed to Manchester airport but was redirected to Stansted about 20 minutes before landing. I get the assumption they *may* have done that in case there was a bomb on board; that's the only reason I can think of, of why you'd want the plane to be in the air longer. I read reports of witnesses saying that the two men on board tried to force their way into the ****pit, but I think everything is pretty much up-in-the-air (unintentional pun) at the moment.

Looks like things aren't going too well in the UK at the moment. :(
