Someone piss you off today? Did something awful happen or do you want to release some anger?
Feel free to rant about anything

I recently developed the common cold which has drained my willingness to do anything, as I was in bed all-day Saturday and Sunday.  Although I do not like discharging negativity onto the Internet with mighty pessimism and aggression, I will say this one thing:

Cheese apples, being sick sucks so much!  :pissed-off:

Don't like this one day course, the male population at the college are rather vulgar and shout innappropriate things in the corridors, the sandwiches there are BS, everyone hovers around where I want to be and then there's the decision about whether to go into town or go home

I don't like how my school has ruined my Mondays. Basically we have to do this thing to help younger kids in their lessons. I usually only had two lessons in the morning of Monday and then I went home at 12pm. Now this helping thing is at 2:30pm which means I have to spend 2 hours and then go back to school which is an absolute piss take as the journey to my house and back to school takes around 10-15 minutes :@

Biggest time waste of my life

i wanna chime in on comcast. a big corporation with deep pockets..dont give a crap about folks who cant truly upgrade..even after you clearly state you dont have the funds to do an upgrade then they try force an upgrade because they can do it. boo

Ranting about a kid in my media coursework group. If it wasn't for you we would be finished and having a break but no because of you we have to wake up early tommorow to finish it off

Ranting about my idiot school; they gave us two subs that have absolutely no idea what on earth they are doing, one is so smart in English that every word that comes out of her is way above my level of understanding, and my science one doesn't even know what we're supposed to do. My senior year, and they stick us with idiot subs, one of which took my A to a C because he didn't know how to grade properly, and still doesn't. ._.

To the stupid internet company I moved to a few weeks ago (Sky if you're wondering). The biggest piece of **** I have ever used. Gaming with Sky is just unbearable.

It's pissing me off how everyone in Norway suddenly are becoming so **** racist against muslims and arabs. That they are against immigration and taking in refugees from Syria is one thing. I don't agree with them, but at least that's a subject for debate. But what's irritating me the most and making me loose some faith in humanity is the growing racism.

People are harassing muslims on the subway and threatening them. They are calling all muslims for terrorists. "They're muslims, of course they support ISIS!". There are two things Norwegians seem to forget. Firstly, the majority of victims of Daesh's terror are muslims. Secondly, the only terror act that has been on Norwegian soil was preformed by a ethnic, right-wing and racist Norwegian.

Right-wing Norwegians are starting to talk about Muslims in a way that reminds me of how people talked about the Jews when the antisemitism was at it's strongest in the 19th and 20th century. In addition to that, right-wing Norwegians say that muslims want to destroy Norwegian liberal values, so therefore the right-wings want to ban Islam, remove some freedom of speech etc etc. Think about that for a minute. To protect liberal values as freedom of speech, thought and religion - the right-wings want to limit the freedom of speech, thought and religion. It's a **** paradox. It isn't the "dangerous" muslims that are going to ruin Norwegian liberal values, but the right-wing Norwegians themselves.

I have no time anymore. What's worse is I'm going to a Christian University. That means I am not only studying history (my degree) but also theology (not my degree). I see what you did there...

Well, I'm going to college and I'm studying history (not my degree), chemistry (not my degree), programming (not my degree), linear algebra (not my degree), multivariable calculus (not my degree) and english (not my degree).

Why do prerequisites exist?

So glad I'm not going to attend an American college.

Right-wing Norwegians

Right wingers in Norway would probably be moderates in the US, which is disturbing to say the least.

Yep, that's true. They would probably be the average moderate in the US, and that is really disturbing. No republican candidates from the US would ever get support from more than a few percents here in Norway.

That's frightening.  Remind me to never visit Norway.  It doesn't sound nice at all :/

Not sure if you're being ironic or not, heh

The two of you interpreted my post differently... lmao.

I might as well come out and say what I believe. I consider myself a mixed capitalist. In my opinion (and there are facts to back this up), a capitalist free market is the most efficient way to distribute goods and services. However, some goods and services, like paid maternity leave, food, healthcare, unemployment benefits, etc. should not be distributed efficiently, but equally, because these goods and services are the backbone of a healthy and productive life. Anyone who thinks an essential service like basic healthcare should be distributed in the free market (where the wealthy have a huge advantage) is straight up nuts. Other nonessential goods and services, like a television or car, can be distributed efficiently, ie by the free market, because these goods are not really "needed" as much as healthcare is. Just because you have more money does not entitle you to better healthcare than a poorer person, because healthcare is a right in my eyes. Having a free market for healthcare creates an inequality based on wealth where there should be no inequality. Of course, a sicker person should pay more for healthcare than a healthy person, even if healthcare is distributed equally.

Except for a few select goods and services, the free market works well. As for social issues, I would consider myself a libertarian. As long as we are not hurting anyone else (Ten Commandments #5-#10 do a very good job defining what hurting someone else is) , the government has no right to regulate our behavior! The government should not give a **** who we love, if we get an abortion, etc. If you are a Christian and disagree with gay marriage and abortion, then the solution is to not engage in these activities! You can even convince others not to engage in them, but don't create laws that force your own personal beliefs onto those that do not have the same beliefs. This is not what freedom is! This is theocracy. God will not judge you for the actions of others. You should be focusing on your own moral cultivation.

@Dreamlander handing out two piece essays on a rant thread? That's new.

Anyways, I caught the common cold, and that in of itself sucks to admit and experience.
