A woman in Saudi Arabia, who was raped by 7 men, was sentenced to 90 lashes of a whip because they basically said that she brought it on herself. Her lawyer then publicised her barbaric punishment which infuriated the stupid judiciary, so they increased her sentence to 200 lashes and 6 months in jail. I mean, how backwards can you be? It's the 21st century but they use a punishment which was used thousands of years ago and they punish the victim. This has caused outrage as it makes victims of sexual abuse and/or rape feel like they cannot come forward to prosecute, otherwise they will get punished themselves.
