DEDICATED Graham Baker spent 12 years and thousands of pounds restoring a rare car — only to see it destroyed by lightning before he could drive it.
Graham, 39, paid £5,000 for his Dodge Challenger convertible — one of only 9,000 made.
He spent years saving up and trawling the country for parts.
But he had almost finished his labour of love, and was about to get it insured after testing the engine for the first time.
Hours later lightning struck his garage in Braishfield, Hants, and wrecked his dream.
