Gardening

Anyone like to do any gardening? I used to, but where we live now there isn't much room to plant anything and I'm afraid the lawn maintenance people will run it over. I do have a couple of plants/flowers around my house like orchids, lilies, and a new plant that I'm not sure of the name of yet. Lol
 
I am a big fan of gardening, flowers and veggies alike. This year my vegetable garden is almost exclusively tomatoes and some swiss chard. I have been having trouble with squirrels stealing almost ripe tomatoes, and am not happy about that.
 
We have an average size garden at the back or the house and mainly lawn at the front. No room for vegetables although I usually grow tomatoes in the green house. I have grown potatoes before in a tub...very successfully too :)
 
I would like too but I rent so I don't want to put the money out and have to move. If I owned the place I would probably do it. I know my wife wants to and I will probably relent at some point lol.

We're in the same boat. We also rent and I just know the lawn guys would mow it down. :(

I do our own yard so I have no worries there. I just don't see the sense if you got to move putting all that money out and having to leave it.

Yep, that's true! That's the reason we haven't done any painting or remodeling in the house. It doesn't need it, but I'm not going to change the colors of everything and pay out of pocket when it isn't going to be mine in the long run.

The only time I would paint is to touch up any damage I cause. This is to make sure I don't leave it bad off for the owner. If I caused the damage I will fix it.
 
I don't know really. I live in a place that has no gardens, but I think if I owned a home with a yard and a garden that I'd like to do something around there.
