Target website has coupons for Expo washable dry erase markers, Bic stationery items and Multipack Sharpie Accent pens. They expire 9/11, so you could use them on the discounted sales tax days. Of course they might be on sale in July.
 
Staples looks good the week of 7/11

FAR paper, almost FAR photo paper, pencils and folders for $.01, plus a $5/$30.

I heard rumors they're also doing the free backpack promo they did last year (last year it was free after Staples Rewards; this year the article I read said gift card, so not sure how it will be run)
 
Thanks for starting this thread. My SIL called me yesterday asking for this information as she is helping a friend who has three children get ready for school on a very limited budget.

Walgreens has packs of pencils for .19 cents this week.
 
Also 10 pack pens for .19 cents at Wags this week.

I'm with you! I love it and both my kids are under 5....but I will be full stocked before either of them gets to kindergarten.
 
At CVS today I picked up a free (after ECBs) a package of pens & kid's scissors, but they are limit 1 each. Milk is really cheap there right now, so it was worth the stop.
 
What's a good price on kids lunch boxes? He doesn't need a new backpack, just the lunchbox.

I'm ISO a deal on 10-12 two inch, three-ring binders (hard kind) with pockets on the inside. The regular kind, not with zippers.

Also have, but not on my preferred list unless the deal is killer: Kmart, Walmart

These do not have to be free, but definitely cheap. Trying to get my 12 yo twin niece and nephew set for school.

staples have them 1.50 each and buy 2 get 1 free promo deals, didn't see all the sizes included but use that with the MIR copy paper and the 5/30 you should have a good deal???
 
My boy needed head phones for the computer lab ( this is my 1st time school shopping and the list of stuff is LONG!!!)
anyway staples had the skull candy ear nubs for 9.99 with in add coupon for 20% off
I didn't think 7.99 was to bad a price for these kind of ear phones
