Do you think that users should have a large or at least some selection of themes on your forum or should there just be one? I feel as though Manny years ago it was common to have multiple themes but nowadays admins tend to just have a light and dark mode.

I like having the choice between a couple of themes but I think it's also good to have one that helps create an identity for the forum and helps push the brand too. What do you think? Should there be a selection of different designs, a light and dark mode or just one mode and that's it?

I think most would be happy to be able to pick between a light or a dark theme.

It's fairly common these days to just have one type of theme but have it in a light and dark mode so people can choose what they want depending on the time of day. I don't see a need for multiple different overall designs though as that is a lot of work to maintain all of them.

As much as I do like to be able to choose a theme that I like I don't feel there needs to be a huge amount of themes to choose from. Something that is the default style but both in a light and dark mode I feel would work well enough, that way people had the choice of whether they prefer light or dark and all users would be happy. As long as the main default theme is clean and professional looking I would be happy with those two options.

I'd like to put at least a dark version on all my sites, but, of course, it would be cool to have more themes if time and/or money allows.

Anyway, it's not tough to make a dark copy of the XF default. Well, my biggest challenge is making the copy, not coloring it.

I remember back in the day, lots of sites would put dozens of themes up. But these days I think a few is good enough and as long as one is light and the other dark.
