uh-huh *nods* Seen quite a few myself and wished on them too. Cannot remember if the wishes came true though, but it was exciting at the time. Stars splashed across the nightsky winking at you and suddenly one seems to break free from it's dancing circle glowing as it shoots across the infinite sky and it all seems almost to be done JUST for you...*sigh* Nature is splendid! I like your topics Lysithea and I see you are a dog lover too. Now these doggies are surely the most beautiful stars that have fallen to Earth, just to make us happy and feel loved

I have two Dobies (females, because I do not like those pink pencils the males display when they sit, sowwy) called Coco and Candy and I adore them! Their love is so true and unconditional. What doggies do you have? We must exchange pics sometime

Okies..Let me tell you (sorry to go off-topic, but doggies ARE stars, you'll agree Lysithea) Sparky lies all cosy on your bed I see from the pics in that thread - beautiful she is...but Skye instantly captured my heart with that shoe in her paw

! She is utterly gorgeous. You can see they are well-cared for and loved. I bet YOU are loved too and that you deserve to be hon

When I got them as puppies the two sisters smelled of perfume (yikies!) and Coco smelled of Chanel No 5 - hence i named her after Coco Chanel. Candy smelled of musk and like those pink little candies you get that are called and smell like musk too. Hence "Candy" they both have my Mama's surname to honour her and...*sigh* THEY take ME walkeees...not the other way around

!

Are there more beautiful stars than these our canine friends? (Thinks very briefly of Antonio Banderas, but dismisses the evil thought) I think not...

VERY NICE DOBIES!! (Psst, post them in Family & Pets) And yes, doggies are stars. They light up my sky as far as I see.

And thank you for the compliments on my dogs.

I missed the more recent meteor shower. There was supposed to be alot of shooting stars. I also remember when a comet passed closely to earth and was during a solar eclipse. It was a clear night and I didn't even remember to look

But I still feel lucky when I see a shooting star. When they aren't expected, they are rare which, to me, makes me feel luckier to catch one.
