Should it be okay for women to breastfeed in public?  Why or why not?

I don't think so. It's not really something that should be done in public even if it is natural. It still comes off as lewd and indecent.

I think they should be allowed and they do here in Oz, it is natural, how else are babies supposed to feed if no where else, What a baby supposed to go hungry cause of a few that are still living in the medieval times. Get with it

Firstly take a chill pill and breathe.  If your skin is that thin then you shouldn't even be in a debate.  Your insults are worthless because only children throw insults in a debate.  I'll ignore them. I would ask that you act like an adult from here on out however.

Secondly this is the modern age. We are advanced far enough where we do have bottles, formula, nutrients, and the fact is times have changed.  We don't need to act like it's the dark ages. You can choose to breast feed and that is fine but it's not a publicly accepted thing.  Take it in private where it belongs.

I am not against breastfeeding at all.  If a woman wants to do that over a bottle....so be it.  I do not think it should be allowed in public though.  I once saw a man get kicked out of a restaurant because he was wearing a pair of overalls but didn't have on a shirt with it.  My question is, why would it be okay for a woman to partially remove her shirt to breastfeed but a guy isn't allowed to eat at a restaurant with no shirt?  I know some people are going to say that it is natural for a woman to breastfeed and I am not saying it isn't.  But if guys have to go out in public fulling clothed, then so should women.

I am thin skinned, child am i, LMAO. Gee mate, take a look at your reasoning, you sound like your trying to sound important, obviously you have no idea about what your trying to say,the more you try the more hypocritical you look. some advice child, go get a life, and a brain to debate more, thanks for the humor tho, it was fun

The only issue I would have is if they just take off their entire shirt and show everything, or even the whole breast. :P Other than that, I think it's fine. Most people cover their babies anyway while doing it, you really won't notice it. It's a natural thing, and I say good for them. Just cover it up, if people cannot go shirtless into stores or things then you shouldn't have your breast showing. :P

That, and I think it's only right for the baby to breastfeed under a cloth or something. :P
