Should Same Sex Marriage Be Legalized ?
In at least 76 countries discriminatory laws criminalize private consensual same-sex relationships, exposing millions of individuals to the risk of arrest, prosecutionand imprisonment – and even, in at least five countries, the death penalty.
(UNFE)

The Catholic Church, United Methodist Church, Southern Baptist Convention, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, National Association of Evangelicals, and American Baptist Churches USA all oppose same-sex marriage.
(Pew Research Center, "Religious Groups' Official Positions on Same-Sex Marriage," pewforum.org, Dec. 7, 2012)

Just to make it clear not "civil partnerships" or "gay marriages".

I don't think so. It opens Pandora Box and once that box opens it cannot be closed. Marriage is between a man and a woman because the primary focus of marriage is procreation. It's not about sex, or your rebel fetishes, or your mentally disturbed but for some reason now acceptable feelings. I think the destruction of the family unit is one of the reasons America has so many problems...esprcualky gang/crime wise.

Do you have anything personally against two men or two women falling in love and sealing the deal ?

It's not marriage.  I have no problem with people who love each other but I would take issue with the perversion of the tradition of marriage.  Call your fetishes whatever you please but don't force me to call it normal.  You won't ever get that.

Alot of things have changed that were "the way".
Okay you say perversion of the tradition of marriage, then name one demonstrable, tangible effect that same-sex marriages have on the functioning of individual heterosexual marriages. The ability of same-sex couples to get married doesn’t alter a single aspect of heterosexual marriages — directly or indirectly. The legal rights and benefits of heterosexual couples are completely unaffected by the existence of gay marriage. It’s not as if straight couples suddenly start loving each other less or start treating their kids worse once gay people start getting married.

You also say its primary focus is to procreate ,so should we also prohibit straight couples from getting married if they’re biologically incapable of having kids? What about if they simply don’t want kids?

Too many strawman arguments. This is why I don't care for the topic and this is why the topic exists in the first place. You cannot force me to accept something that I don't believe. I don't care about your reasonings, justifications, or excuses, nor anyone else's for that matter. This is how you breed resentment. Cheapening marriage for the rest of society to fulfill rebellious sexual deviance and fetishes doesn't sit well with me. I don't care what pop culture says. I don't care what's trendy or cool. I certainly don't care for the Liberal agenda driving this topic. I don't care for even any other point. Marriage is between a man and a woman. For me that is the beginning,  middle,  and end of the topic.

Let's try not to have conflicts people. Everyone is entitled to your own opinion but just try not to offend anyone ;)

Personally I think it should be legalised. I have no views of whether it's right or wrong to be loving someone of the same sex but I don't think we should stop someone based on their sexual orientation. Why should I have a say over someone elses life? They should be able to do what they want with their life. If they want to marry another man, go ahead, its not affecting me at all.

Eh, I can see why I quit posting here. Too much hatred in the atmosphere. It's not why America has so many problems. It's because of prejudice and premature hatred of others. Sexual Orientation isn't a fetish or taboo, it's something completely normal. Various species of animal have been showing homosexual tendencies for years. It's not the 'Gay Agenda' or whatever crazy bull people make up. It's poverty, it's neglect. If anything, it's about abandonment. I'm utterly disgusted.
