This is so sad...a real shock. She actually had a really beautiful voice. I had seen her on TV just recently stating that she felt really blessed to be singing and making a living from it.

I have been listening to her music for ages, such a great loss.. and at only 22, she had so much of her life to live. She was a very attractive and talented person.

although i was never familiar with her music, since it wasn't really in my style, the graveness of the tragidy is truly horrible.

she had a great future ahead of her, and the fact that she was about to gain wide wide widespread recognition for roles in the sequel(s) to the matrix makes it all the more painful

I must agree that any tragic loss of life is sad. Aaliyah was very attractive and rather talented in what she did.

And now they're saying it probably happened because the plane was overloaded. The pilot didn't want to take off because he thought the plane was at an unsafe weight, but Aaliyah's crew yelled at him, saying they HAD to get back to Miami that evening and they had to go NOW.

Now they're all dead
