What's the run command that allows you to choose what bloody programs startup with your computer?

Some internet tech support person told me it a few months ago, but I've long since forgotten.

If you are trying to stop some things from starting up then you can go type msconfig into the run line and uncheck the ones you dont want to startup. If you want to add things to your startup You will have to wait for someone a slight bit more technical then me. hope that helped a little.

Just so you know, you can also reach that applet by running the System Information application found at Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information.
Under Tools, you'll find the System Configuration Utility.

Of course, it's a ton easier to just type in msconfig from the Run menu, but the above way might be easier for those who can only use the GUI.
