Missy, how have you been doing? I was worried that you haven't posted for awhile but saw you checked in today. Hope things are going as well as they can be.

(only problem is I haven't been doing much cleaning since the tile project started so I've been avoiding that thread - don't tell Coach :giggles:)
 
So proud of myself. It's only Nov. 7th and I've already bought 2 Christmas gifts.

To be fair, I didn't really work that hard for them since all I did was sit on my behind and click "buy" and the gifts will be sent here in a week but still ... :-)
 
I have 4 people checked off the Christmas list and odds 'n ends for Lex and Lawson. Same thing though - all ordered online and it will be delivered to me.

Wow, I'm on a roll. I just ordered a Hello Kitty watch for my niece for under 5 bucks shipped!

I should do all my shopping this way. Hmm, I wonder if they could wrap everything for me too. :giggles:
 
I'm thinking it was a ROUGH day at work. I'm also thinking that the new "Domestic" Kirkland vodka from Costco is remarkably good for the price...:lol:

Note to self:

Should NOT watch scary/disturbing crime, horror, etc shows on TV after the kids are asleep, esp. when DH is out of town all week. I think I'm going to stick with cartoons and Food Network tomorrow.

I totally understand...maybe sleep w/the light on tonight? This is why I hate all horror movies/shows...not to mention growing up w/my mom who worked at the local police dept. and all the grisly stories she used to tell us kids growing up to scare us from EVER doing anything bad...it worked!:lol:

Thank you for reminding me. I need to get caught up on American Horror Story on demand. I love Criminal Minds and reruns are always on late at night on ION. When D was an infant and I was up with her, that's what I watched. It made me really paranoid, ESP about home invasion.
 
I didn't think Criminal Minds wasn't toooooooo scary last night, but at the end, when Hotch got the call about their next case- *that* creeped me out. I feel like I always text DD18 during or right after that show to make sure she is ok in MI. :giggles: It has made paranoid about home invasions. If we didn't have a house alarm when we started watching that show, we'd have one by now for sure.

I didn't get to watch last night. I have to have my DH get it off the internet for me. I just saw Sunday's Walking Dead on Tuesday. I keep waiting for that show to get better and it never does. (I mean better as in good things happening, not the quality of the show)
 
I didn't give anything away. :giggles:

For some reason, I thought Walking Dead was a Western type show. I was very shocked that it was what it is. :lol:
