so what are you thinking right now?

Sorry Red, hope you guys get well fast! On another note...work was insane tonight and my vol's jumped to conclusions which made it worse for a new client. I feel bad for the lady! And on yet another note tomorrow I have yet another icky female ultrasound...so don't enjoy those....no one likes an ultrasound wand up their hooha...just sayin'

Why don't they realize that a safety fence is there for a reason, that it is beyond stupid to put your child up on top of the fence? :surrender::surrender::surrender::surrender:
 
Ugh, the cold got to me last night. Realized I had to order heating oil this morning... lowest price I could find was $3.37/gal cash :surrender:

Praying for a warmer than average winter, these prices are awful, hope that $500 lasts more than 5 weeks.
 
Sorry ennui, I don't think they are predicting that because of the lack of el nino or nina whatever it is. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though!

we have an exchange student from Argentina staying with us--we had gone out to eat last night and ds was wearing shorts--The student asked my ds how in the world could he be wearing shorts!--LOL the student told us that even in hot weather people most always wear pants in argentina
 
I qualified for a focus group. I qualify all the time, but usually they call me to say the requirements changed & they no longer need me. Of course this one is Mon-Tues-Wed, an hour each day, so a total pain in the ****.

Please do not let me buy DD14 the gym shoes she wants. I want to use the $ for paint. :lol: It will be all I can do not to stop at ****'s on my way home on Wednesday to buy the queen the shoes she's been begging for. :surrender:

I think in many of the "warmer" countries they become so used to it that it's no big deal to wear pants in the heat. That's like my bil in Florida. He wears jeans year round, even in summer!

Is her birthday coming up or how about Christmas? That way you can justify buying them but she's still have to wait for them.
 
$324/hour for speech therapy. :faint: But there is a 26% discount making it $246.24 :faint: :faint: I'm glad the next place I called is $85 an hour....made it seem like a real bargain!
 
DD had a rough night so she slept in my bed. I had to keep her away from Abby, so I took the couch. Could use a little extra coffee today!

Kara have you called the colleges?? If they have a speech therapy degree they usually have appointments--or grad students who will come to your house..

Have you checked with the school district? I thought your child was over age 3, do you need therapy beyond what is provided in district?
