What's new

so what are you thinking right now?

I was watching a couple of older episodes of Criminal Minds that I had DVRed. It's not so much that the show was scary but more that it totally creeps you out and makes you paranoid when you think of how vulnerable you can be to the sickos and creeps that are out there in the world KWIM.

I didn't get to watch last night. I have to have my DH get it off the internet for me. I just saw Sunday's Walking Dead on Tuesday. I keep waiting for that show to get better and it never does. (I mean better as in good things happening, not the quality of the show)

I just watched the Halloween episode the other night. (not during daylight :hides: ) It was the gardening woman episode.

Men's health month is recognized in part by men growing a mustache in November- hence Movember. DH is still shaving the rest of the beard- just leaving the upper lip. Which is still better than the NHL playoff beard growth I guess.

Seeing alot of gray in that 'stache but he doesn't care at the moment.

and yes....yes it is!!!

Jumping in on a trend & growing a mustache is meaningless if men don't actually do something like get a checkup. Too many men never see a doc until they are face to face with the ED doc because they've just had a heart attack/MI.

That's it. It makes you realize how vulnerable we all are. How sometimes people who appear normal are really not.

When a nice looking man asks me a questions, I always think of Ted Bundy. :hides:

I seriously worry about this **** with my DD18. She is SO nice to people. I am glad she watches Discovery ID & all of these creepy shows because I do think they make her more aware, but I also know if someone "needs help," she will help them.

I didn't give anything away. :giggles:

For some reason, I thought Walking Dead was a Western type show. I was very shocked that it was what it is.

 That's hysterical

I think probably b/c you saw a picture of the main character :9:

I watch American Horror Story - I didn't care much for last week's episode but this week's was really good

I really did. My bff told me that she loves it, so DH & I watched it last week. He knows I am NOT into anything like this or sci-fi or anything like this so he was like, "Okaaaayyyyyyyy." I totally thought it was going to be like a modern day Gunsmoke. :snort: I am also not into westerns, but figured if bff likes it, it must be good. :dunce:

I haven't watched American Horror Story...I think that would freak me out. While I love true crime stuff & Criminal Minds, Law & Order, etc., I do not like scary/gory stuff at all. We go camping too much & I just lay in the tent & worry. :giggles:

Pan handlers and strangers who accost you on the street freak me out. I think if someone ever asked me to help them load something into a van, I would run. I don't want to end up in a hole so some **** can have a jacket made of my skin.

For a long time as a kid I thought Ted Bundy was Al Bundy....that was very confusing, was the actor a killer? was the character a killer? lol

I don't watch those shows. Try knowing people IRL who prosecute criminals... especially family and child cases. It has a similar effect, except you KNOW it's real.

Me too!
