I've always been fascinated with outer space and love to go out, away from the city, when there's a chance for meteor showers. I remember going out with my buddy and checking out when the halle boppe comet was around..that was a sight.
I checked out the nebulas on http://hubble.stsci.edu/ and was awe struck by the 'lagoon' and 'eagle' nebula.

There's nothing I love more than learning about the solar system (espeically wacky green and blue dementoid-axis planets like neptune and uranus! (yes Boone, I said uranus. No need for a snide reply
) And also their wweeeeeeiiiiirrrdd moons, like Miranda. In an astronomy course I took about a year ago, We had some wonderful web links to things like nasa's astronomy picture of the day...I'm going to try to dig them up, and will post them as soon as i find them!
