Subliminal Messaging

Advertisers have recently discovered a new type of advertising!

It is called subliminal messaging.

What it does is that it implies messages to try and get you to do what they want, without telling your explicitly.

Should this be legal? It doesn't seem right to be influencing people's minds without them knowing about it

The scientific evidence for the efficacy of subliminal messaging is sadly lacking. Whether it works or not is definitely not the point however. It should be illegal to advertise to people without their knowledge.
