I just had to say the time and effort spent trying to get anywhere ie... leveling to become any master profession sucks and the skill points or lack of suck. You should be able to master better combo's then that available. Ya I have 16 hours a day to play. :mad: The combat is a joke. You always have to get buffed to do anything and you have to spend a third of your time on just to travel anywhere. And the fact that people you know who are new have been on only a week or so have mastered 2 professions - WTF is that. I am not against exploits or anything like that but fair is fair.
 
You'll get some relief from your complaints with the CURB coming in April (or so they say) that will make buffs seem silly, and most of the leeters that own the servers closer to the level of the regular players.
 
The combat upgrade sucked. It ruined a lot for me when it was finally released. I had some awesome armor, and post CU I couldn't even use it until I gained an Elite Profession. I like being able to see combat levels now though and your abilities are now NEEDED to fight instead of being able to just click and occasionally use them as you saw fit. In the end, though it may have screwed up a lot for us, it has helped too. I think that the combat is a lot more balanced now, except for the fact I can't fight anything my level, only 12 levels below me :).
 
Agreed. Had they beta tested longer, they would have had the new system at release, instead of changing the game midstream, and pissing off all the gamers there from day one. HORRIBLE launch, and bug ridden game doomed to fail from day one. The only thing that will keep it afloat is the fact that it is Star Wars, and it will always draw people to it because of that. I am not sure if any hard core gamers will ever return to the game in mass though.
