Switching phone content

Do you usually use apps to switch contents of your old phone to new phones? Or do you just do it manually?

I don't have apps or anything on the phones I've had recently because they're free government-provided cells, so I have to re-input any information on it manually all over again. I wish there were an application with these old phones to move my contacts and such more easily...

I perform the transfer through the manual method of connecting my iPhone to my computer with a USB connection to upload the data, them moving the data onto my new phone. It takes a while, but I've become fairly efficient at it now. :silly:

manual method I guess since I use SIM cards and usb to transfer any content.
