Do you find that switching to a healthy diet to be easy? I don't. I'm a huge fan of energy drinks and every day on my walk home from school I just spot energy drinks and I wish I could just buy one. Pop the can open and drink the luscious sweet contents of it. But I know that I must stop my huge sugar consumption. Don't get me wrong, I'm not unhealthy and I'm far from overweight. I just want to eat more healthy. I've been snacking on healthy foods like salad and having fruit for breakfast. Has anyone else switched from high sugar to low sugar diet? And how did it work out for you?

I don't pay much attention to my diet. A multivitamin a day most the time, sometimes I run out and don't rebuy them for a month or something. I don't eat meat so I need to make sure I get the daily protein, which is really easy. I don't eat fruit at all, let alone my 5-a-day. The most I get to it is when I drink orange/apple juice but even that is every other week. I think I'm good with vegetables though. Every Sunday with my roast dinner and every time I have a salad. Sometimes I have soups, normally only when I'm ill though - like now. I think the most unhealthy part of my diet is coffee, but even that isn't too bad. Considering my new job is in a "healthy" and "fresh food" shop where I get free lunches I'm sure I'll be eating healthier anyway haha.

I tried to cut down on sugar once and that's all. I really don't see why people bother unless they have an illness/disease. If you're stuffing your face with preservatives, GMO's, Aspartame and all the other chemicals blah blah plus you use the microwave frequently, cutting out sugar is silly. I'm more of an all or nothing guy, so if I did try to be healthy I'd want to do the whole 5-a-day regular vegetables and cut out all bad things diet, as well as little sugar.

You say if you have an illness. However, I need to cut down on sugar to prevent an illness. I have more than enough sugar to become diabetic. With any luck I'm not susceptible to getting it but I may be. Also having less sugars/less salts/less fats just generally improves your life. It helps prevent many illnesses, it helps you live longer, it helps your health in general.

I try to be healthy-ish. Well, I try not to over-do it. I think I have an amazing diet compared to the rest of my family and friends.

I eat healthy things, but I do indulge on some junk too at times. If I don't have a healthy food/drink available at the time, I will turn to the less healthy options.

The idea of eating unhealthily disgusts me so I do generally eat healthily... Every time I eat something unhealthy I always eat loads of fruit and stuff over the next few days :) I'm a bit weird
