Okay, I can't guarantee that I will take every bit of advice given, but I will appreciate the time it takes to give it. Flirting with truckers is kind of part of my job, and obviously I wouldn't mind flirting with guys closer to my own age sometimes too. Keep in mind that I'm pretty shy. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, say a trucker came up to your cash register to pay. What might you say to him? Other than "hi, how are you?" and "how was everything today?"?
"You smell good" Only if he does. He would have to be at the beginning of his ride and freshly showered.
"You have the blue-est eyes I have ever seen" - eyes must be blue or you could lie and see where it gets you .

Easy one. If the guy is wearing a shirt/jacket with a sports team logo....1. Know when different sports are "in season" and then ask how the team is doing or study up on different sports and be able to make a comment regarding the team on his shirt.

If he is wearing camophlage, ask him if he hunts.

Flirting is more about how you say something than what you are actually saying.

also body language...............hold chin slightly down and look at him so your sorta looking up...........smile with one side of your mouth up sorta like in a smirk...........if he says something funny smile with your eyes closed while looking down.......also when you talk to a guy tilt your head to one side

...............there isn't a bucket of popcorn big enough for this show.................:35:

Stand behind the register and thrust your hips with each $1.00 bill you pull outta the register.... then bend over and count it out into the truckers hand...

I think the first step to learning to flirt is showing a genuine interest in people. Remember that everyone has stories to tell and a heart with feelings. Take an interest in what they tell you, ask questions, and act like you care. Laugh at their jokes.

The second step is a smile and eye contact. A friendly smile can go a long way :)

Further on is body language.. flirty eyes, "opening" your body to the other person (think not crossing your arms), some touching, etc.

But I think it's good to start with taking interest in people and smiling.

Pets are always a good thing to talk about when you want to get to know someone
