This happened Wednesday October 11, funny the mainstream media isn't reporting this.

FYI, the Exxon Valdez disaster was 11.2 million gallons of oil. This is approximately 22 times larger than that spill

--
"This is worse than an oil spill", said Tommy Evans of Inez. "This is what they wash coal in and it's got every chemical in the world in it."

"250 million gallons of gooey material drained into two creeks after the bottom fell out of a 72-acre slurry pond early Wednesday"

A top federal mining official observed yesterday that
"whatever is under there is dead."

"We've got something about the consistency of molasses out there Bowman said. It's about 70 percent water and 30 percent coal dust and clay and it's moving about that slowly"

This kind of thing ticks me off to no end! What on earth...aaack! Mad as heck right now!

Do you think this:

"In 1994, Martin County Coal was fined $1,600 for a similar problem at the Big Branch. Inspectors recommended the company add seals inside the mine to insure against a recurrence."

might be part of the problem? Hasn't the regulatory commissions figured out that these companies would rather pay a stinking $1,600 fine, then spend hundreds of thousands in meeting compliance regulations? Arrgh! The stupidity and the slap on the wrists for these violators just pluck my nerves!! Arrgh!
