Jeff Daniels makes a very powerful statement here. As much of a Patriot as I am, I have to agree with him. America is NOT the greatest nation on earth anymore. We used to be, but those days have been gone for a while now.

20 years ago, if anyone had asked me if there would ever be a time when I would say that America ISN'T the greatest country in the world, I'd have laughed in their face. Now, it's a whole different story. I don't even recognize my country anymore. Everything Daniels said at the end, about what America USED to be about...it's all true. What this country has become is shameful. Cowards, whimps, fearful little mice, scurrying around worried about never insulting any group of people about anything under the sun. Gutless. Chickenshit. It's disgusting to watch. The entire world is LAUGHING at us, and who can blame them?
