Themes in blue

Have you noticed, many themes of forum are made in blue. Why is it so?? our theme too involves blue. Does blue gives the design a royal look or just like that the designers choose this?

Maybe most of the persons among the forum makers likes the color blue.

Maybe Blue is the common color for the best or something? Maybe it matches with other colors more? No sure
