How much time do you spend on your forum each week? Do you think you spend too much time, the right amount of time or not enough time on your forum? How much time do you think is just the right amount of time that should be spent on a forum, especially if you want to make it successful?
I don't spend enough time because I have so many projects for other people. For instance, I might be doing a post exchange or some writing gig. However, though, the posting exchanges are specifically to boost up my forum - and also, sometimes, the writing gigs.
On both the forums I own and co-own I try to spend at least a few hours a day on the forums creating new content and replying to content that may already be there. I do find though that with work it can sometimes be difficult to always be active and post new content but I always try and find some time through the day to be able to jump on, check on things and make some new posts and replies.
I'm spending a lot of time currently on my forum as I always get these urges to update the forum list and delete forums and put in new forums and I just want to make my forum perfect but every time I look at the forum list I get one or two different ideas and then my ideas change and then I'm back to square one.
