Tina Turner performs in a concert in Cologne, Germany on Jan. 14, 2009. Turner, the unstoppable singer and stage performer, died Tuesday, after a long illness at her home in Küsnacht near Zurich, Switzerland, according to her manager. She was 83.

Looking at the date when this was posted, I can not believe it was that long ago that Tina Turner passed away. I remember my eldest telling me but he said he wasn't sure who it was, I had to play a song of hers for him to realize who it was.

Such a shock and loved her music.
