From Mashable..

Over the weekend, President Obama announced the Department of Energy would be giving almost $2 billion in conditional funding to two solar energy companies, Abengoa Solar and Abound Solar Manufacturing.

Money will come from the $863 billion economic stimulus package. Projects funded by this move are expected to create more than 5,000 construction and permanent jobs.
I think this is good news, making more efficient solar cells would be awesome.
I just added 4 little solar powered yard lights around my drive and walkway today. It was a bit overcast, but they still charged enough to light up the dark.

Hope the other countries follow to, this is only way forward. Cant rely on fossil fuels with the proplems they cause, most recently the Oil spill.

think its good news, i think that this year oil prices will be very high.....soon i will have to travel on foot!!!! so solar energy is a great solution!
