This band I found a while back is AH-MAZING. Their name is Man Man:

And in my opinion they are one of the most interesting forms of music to rise up from the generic crap pile we find nowadays. Again, my opinion. But Honestly, the way they use all the different types of instruments to create some of the craziest stuff I've ever heard is great! :D Though sometimes their lyrics are a bit.. odd.
Like the song Big Trouble.
Other then that, this one band I found called Matmos:

Is truely... something else. For perfect example, one of their albums, 'A Chance to Cut is a Chance to Cure' is a really weird combination of sounds that in turn make music. They use clips from a L.A.S.I.K eye surgery to actually make the song L.A.S.I.K. California Rhinoplasty is the sounds of a nose surgery. And Lipostudio... and so on, is.. yeah, you guessed it. Clips from a Liposuction surgery. In my opinion, once more. Some may thing it's crap, but, hey, it's all opinions.
Last but not least that I found recently, is Streetlight Manifesto. I think they are friggn' amazing!

For one, their youtube videos are awesome. Look up We will fall together, or Would you be impressed. I think they're pretty **** cool. They play an amazing array of aerophone, wind, and brass. And I'm a sucker for a french horn. ;P
So that's about it. I thought this would be nice to post to give people other tastes of music. :D Enjoy, or hate. Doesnt matter to me. :3 Back to listening to my music!
