Do you think ISIS is becoming a real threat to the rest of the world? Or do you just see them as someone else's problem? What are your thoughts on ISIS?

Well, I live in the US and they have made it clear that we are targeted. But, as another post I saw today, it is hard to know the facts because the news/media tend to put all negativity in the stories. The real question is, is it over exaggeration that the media is producing or is it as real as the media is putting it out to be?
They are a minorty, just as KKK is a miniorty. IS is a threat as long as you see it as a threat. They commit aweful crimes but they are not stopped. Why do you think that is? KKK has been around for God knows how long and no on does anything to stop them. Granted they do not commit crimes to the same extent that IS does but they are still both fanatics. These types of groups will always come, you can't really stop them. You kill 10, another 10 take their place. You have to get to the root of the problem which is in my opinion corruption among politicians and people in charge.
If they are a threat to a part of the world, they are a threat to the world!
The media blows everything out of proportion, it doesn't matter if it about ISIS or anything else.
I do believe ISIS is a credible threat and I'm not saying that because I believe everything I hear and see on the news. ISIS is a fanatical group that will always be around until one thing happens. If every country bands together and completely wipes them off the map, instead of each country fighting their own individual fight against the group, I think they could be gone.

But there is fear that if countries attack ISIS/Syria, they will strike back since they are all over the world, since they came through the refugees and refugees are everywhere.JennyorAlice said:

I think they're a threat. I do feel bad for the refugees however, but something tells me they might grow up to want vengeance for what happened to the people of there city and think ISIS is a good idea.

In my opinion, IS is a threat to the world along with the other terrorist groups.
They will keep striking unless they are wiped out completely which is virtually impossible now (I would guess) since they are all over the world after disguising as Syrian Refugees.
It's the world vs terror and if the world wants to defeat terror then every country must work together.
