I don't think that they are too accurate but I like reading them in the newspaper every day to just see what it says. My birthday is on the 23rd of December so my sign is Capricorn.
That's correct they are based on the constellations. Some Greek Mythology are referred to the stars but I am not sure if they are strictly associated with each other.
I'm a Sagittarius and I used to read my horoscope daily when I was a kid. But then, of course, I realized none of it ever came true. I remember grabbing a book at a bookstore and reading through the various characteristics of each sign and I fit into every single of one of them. It's all a scam.
I'm a Taurus, and I definitely relate to the traits of a taurus too. I'm very stubborn and I do enjoy eating a good meal. My spouse is a Pisces, and they can relate to their sign as well. They often have their heads in the clouds and I have to ground them and bring them back to reality at times.
I was born in mid-May and I am a Taurus. I am not a believer in any of the horoscopes as I used to read them a lot when I was younger and they never seemed to fit. I had a friend in school though that would read them all the time and she said that she found they were accurate for her. I guess it just depends on each person.
