What scares you the most in life?

What thing or situation would you be most afraid of in life? What would scare me the most is to burn alive, it's something I've thought about for a long time and I think it must be too painful, those moments of burning have to be horrible.

Death would be the one thing that scares me most in life, and losing any family member. We recently found out that my dad has Motor Neurone Disease and because of how long it has taken to get a diagnosis, he may not have long left. My mum has an appointment on Wednesday to find out his life expectancy and that is a scary thought.
