The train trip up there is amazing.

Tour websites only give you the popular bits. The Blue Mountains National Park has to be seen to be believed; it’s massive.

I know someone who commutes down it every day (almost) from Lithgow on the other side of the mountains to his job in Sydney.

My place is in an outdoor wonderland. To the north is the Clinch Mountains and to the south is the really huge Blue Ridge (Great Smoky Mountains). Anyway, I've always enjoyed mountain hiking - as there are mountains surrounding my parent's home - as in, their driveway.

we have places like Pollock Park and Strathclyde Park but these are country parks there is also Blairdrummond Safari Park but thats more of a zoo than a wild life park

Yeah we dont have much so they are our claim to fame as far as country and wildlife parks go lol. :D

NONE. There are no wildlife parks in my vicinity. and I haven't visited any wildlife park either.
Hope to do so soon with my family.
Though we will need to travel some distance to a different state to enjoy this.
