Why do you play?

So why do you play games.

Is it just to pass time :sleep:, is it for money in tournaments or are you a hardcore gamer that wants the respect for his skills?

So why do you play games and which genre of games do you play the most and why exactly that genre?

For example I love to play RPGs because they suck me into their world and it feels like I'm an actor in my own private movie with the leading act. :sneaky:

I play games because I love to game. Also I love to play computer online games, WoW, RuneScape and such because you can sell the games currency and items for a nice amount of $.

I play games because I enjoy it, plus it's a great way to pass some time if you are bored, or need to wait. Sports games are my favourite though.

If you mean FPS then Yeah I did play a lot of them...
- Combat Arms
- Counterstrike

I play loads of funny games and simulation games on PC aswell.

Yea there is nothing better then combining profit with fun.
But sadly that option isn't always available.
