This woman was over the moon when she took home £380 of winnings from a horse race and posted the winning ticket on Facebook to share her glory.

But it all went wrong when the punter, known only as Chantelle, from Perth, Australia, reportedly went to collect the money only to be told it had already been claimed.

Chantelle, who had never gambled before, had placed $20 (£9.31) on a horse called Prince of Penzance with 101-1 odds at the Melbourne Cup horse race .

When she won, the thrilled young woman shared the ecstatic selfie with her Facebook friends, not realised that the slip included a barcode, to be used at an automated machine to claim the cash..
Chantelle later posted on Facebook: ‘To the low life who is obviously my friend on Facebook and used my photo to claim our winnings.
‘You’re a massive d***. You ruined my day.’

It's kind of her fault too though. You should. Never ever ever post sensitive stuff like that on the internet. Ever lol.

That's really sad to hear, but if I were her I'd go collect the money first before taking photo and posting it on social networks. :P
