3dmark2001 is out!!

Heck, I'm still trying to figure out why my system running a T-bird 1GHz @ 1080 with a GF2 GTS is only getting about 3300 3DMarks under 3DMark2000.

yeah my scores blow **** too.. but this benchmark was created w/ a huge overhead.. and apparently cpu speeds don't really matter that much.. it's maxing the hell out of the video card..
It still doesn't add up then, since all I've changed is the CPU.
The same exact video card on a slower CPU was scoring in the 5k range.
I'll probably download this on Sunday when I'm at work with the T1. 40MB will take all day on my dial-up.

Yes, I was referring to the fact that my scores went down with a faster CPU in the 2000 version.
We'll see how they are with the 2001 version sometime next week.
