Deepak Chopra writes many interesting articles that would be helpful for those who are continuously worrying about something. Some people are naturally worry warts and Chopra writes intensively on how to calm your spirit. He is a forerunner in "Holistic Healing".
 
I agree with you Anglo, we can't spending our life's worrying about things we can't predict or stop.

Good luck! There are most certainly some nut bar Muslims saying the same thing about us!
 
I do tend to worry sometimes beyond reason. Oftentimes it turns out I had the right idea... sometimes I just HATE being right... I do agree with Chris though that I believe our government will protect us. I just have that kind of faith - it's almost like believing in God.

It will be interesting to hear what O'Reilly has to say about the whole thing tonight! Apparently the Muslims have announced that they are overjoyed. Sort of like a country of Jewish people electing Hitler as their esteemed leader ! Heil! :icon_salu I think I would have elected Kate O'Leary's cow then to have given into the Muslims.(a cow owned by Mrs. Kate O'Leary at 137 De Koven Street started the Chicago fire of 1871 by kicking over a kerosene lantern.)
 
I can't even think about that. I'm just going to keep on believing that this country will protect us. Call me stupid or naive - there comes a time when a person HAS to believe.

I agree, if they can just make sure the wind is blowing in the opposite direction I will give it my vote :thumbsup:.
 
I'm right with you on that one, Chris!!

At work yesterday, I had an interesting thought (yes - I DOES happen from time to time!;) ). Since the dawning of the use of microwaves in residential kitchens, we find ourselves so often referring to warming something up as "nuking it". Can you imagine back in the '40's and '50's the furor that would have taken place everytime someone said "nuke it"? There'd be no Asia, fer chrissakes!
 
Yea, I wonder where they got that from? Microwaving something have nothing to do with nukes. It would make more sense if they called it "Radar It". But it doesn't sound good.
 
Wow this is weird! Like something out of the Twilight Zone. I was deported here after clicking the quote box on Mrsd's response to "nuking" and there is nothing here!

I guess if I remember correctly I wanted to say that you add two cups of milk and stir slowly over a medium heat until the milk begins to boil! :toothy12: :toothy12:
