I THINK what lenny is trying to say that a person who is comfortable around words and phrases can really have a lot of fun with it. Doesn't have a thing to do with whether or not the person is good or bad, liked or unliked. Correct me if I'm wrong, lenny.

I can attest that Anglo knows exactly why he chooses certain words, even if others do not.

You just can't group an entire people by the actions of some. I'm sorry but I just can't believe that every person of Muslim faith thinks exactly the same way. At the same time, I am afraid that I fall into the ignorant catagory through my fears of "dangerous looking people", or people who may be classified as extremists, no matter WHO they are. The world is in a seige of terrorism that has been sparked by a few. How horrible.

I agree, and as usual, I don't have time to explain fully (been happening a lot as of late), but I will say this: I believe the terrorists are playing on our weakness. I believe they are actually smacking us behind our backs, and then crying foul when we accuse them. In other words, they are using our kindness against us.

The "Muslim" issue has been a hot one around here lately, and while I have cautioned some against making blanket statements, I would also like to caution others about being naive. I have said it a million times, the Islamic religion is violent. One need only study it to find that out. The comparisons between violence in the Bible vs Islam just do not hold up to scrutiny.

All Muslims are not terrorists, but Islam is, at it's core, a violent religion. At the very least, the words and teachings of Muhammad are, and there simply is no way around that.
 
I much prefer your wording over something like "Kill them all". It just makes us look as stupid as they are. I fully and totally understand the hatred towards "them", but I feel that so many people need to actually KNOW who "They" are. An educated statment beats any other in many cases.
