Anyone in need of a ****/rant thread??

I feel like I could complain about a lot of stuff - dd3 is sick, how am I going to get it all done? not appreciated, dh comes home crabby all the time, had to buy dh an IPod even though we could not afford it so he would stop whining for a few minutes. Someone the other day was complaining about their dh not salting after he shoveled - uh, no one even shoveled here much less salted. Oh, and I am trying to get presents for my kids violin teachers but my dh keeps saying , "No. We already pay them." Blah, blah, blah. We have at least a years worth of Folgers in stockpile. I got 12 bags of Starbucks at Target for something like $2.50 + tax after Qs and GCs and I can't give their teacher one??? I got some free stuff at Kohl's and I can't give any of it to their violin teachers??? I made a bag of all free stuff for their dance teachers and afterwards all I hear are complaints. This all leads to the reason why I had to get him the IPod 8 GB 4th Gen. He says he never gets anything. He sees all the cheap/free stuff I get and wants to know where's his, but not that stuff cause those are just "trinkets". IDK - he is a good man but Christmas is for kids (IMO) and I am really sorry he got so jipped when he was a kid but be happy with what you can afford.

Is that legal?

Probably not. They also don't pay overtime and basically tell their employees on a daily basis that they are replaceable and if they don't do x they are fired.
Needless to say, he's looking for a new job. We're just worried it will be hard for him to find something because he's only been here 6 months and was unemployed before that.

I have a DS3 going on 4 and he doesn't listen. Plus now everything is becoming a tragedy. Favorite sippy cup in the dishwasher-tantrum, having to share with his brother-tantrum. He will no longer take a nap now for the last 6 months. I have no idea what to do.. I feel like a failure.

:huggy: It's a hard age, he sounds like my 2.5 year old and my 5 year old was the same way. Now that you mention it, it wasn't a pretty year for my now 8 year old either!

My 2.5 yr old has a fit if his socks aren't on right, or his fingers aren't in his gloves the right way, if his brothers have a red straw and he has a blue one....I take MANY deep breaths during the day. I think my 2.5 yr old seems worse because he has the two older brothers and wants to do what they do, but just can't because he's too little. He gets frustrated, then the things he tries to control (like the straw thing) he can't and it just spirals from there.

Hang in there!

I screwed something up with our finances. :surrender:It's nothing major but it impacts our budget pretty hard. We've really been working hard for the last year and to mess it up now really sucks when we've come so far. I am mad/dissapointed with myself, incredibly sad I let my husband down and I feel like a failure. MY DH has every reason to be pretty mad at me too.....BUT he's an amazing man. He may be upset BUT he he told me not to worry, we'll work it out. So...while I'm ranting at myself for being STUPID, I am incredibly lucky to have my DH.

I hate my dh job. When he starts work tomorrow it's supposed to be 3 degrees. The building he works in is not heated. They have huge doors (garage door size) that are open all day. Since they're busy right now he'll probably work 14 hours tomorrow. I felt so bad for him as I was laying out his 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, 2 pairs of socks, and 2 jackets tonight. And to top it all off they ordered him Carhartt type jacket and coveralls. Well the coveralls were the wrong size (their mistake, not his). That was over a week ago and he still doesn't have his new ones. Yet they keep asking him why he's not wearing them.

I hear ya! Same with DH... No AC or Heat! But... at least they are working. And we get to warm them up at night. :wink2:

My dh was so grateful that it didn't snow much. He's afraid to go & use the snowblower because he thinks the gay guy next door is hitting on him.lmao. Every time dh is outside the guy comes over to talk to him. I think gay guy is just lonely-i also see him talking to the mailman.

Where are you guys at?

My Rant.....
My 66y.o. dad fell in my driveway last night on the ice, hurt his shoulder but didn't want to go to the ER last night. So I called him this morning to check on him, it's KILLING him. I encouraged him to go to the orthopaedic office I worked at for 10 years and where he was previously a patient. Nope, he tells me he can't b/c he has no Medicare Part B coverage, only Part A. He screwed something up during enrollment so he has no outpatient coverage. UGH. He said he's been trying to correct it but doesn't understand it. Pisses me off that #1 my mom doesn't help him with the paperwork #2 he won't ask any of his four daughter's to help (none of us even knew) #3 the **** government makes everything too confusing, too many hoops to jump through so that ppl like my dad just throw their arms up and give in. Sigh...........

My rant from yesterday:

My neighbors on the other half of our duplex shoveled exactly their half of the walkway that leads to the sidewalk (we always do ALL of it) and then swept the salt that we put down so it is only on our half. They are a couple of asshats :asshat: anyway.

Apparently they are still holding a grudge because I cut down the big bush on OUR side next to OUR patio over the river where their drunk asses used to pee behind every day rather than stumble into their house like normal people to use the bathroom. Maybe me telling her that only animals pee outside not people pushed her over the edge. Her retaliatory comment? "What are you worried your boyfriend will see my ****?" Yep, that's it lady....

Oh yeah...did I mention she is 70? :giggles:

I have **** hat neighbors all around me...Here is a story about the one to the North of me...Their adult child is selling small drugs around the community (to a cop):dunce:...Yea man, I can get you anything you want...parents house gets raided, dogs, helecopters, swatt team, the works...when he goes to trial, turns in his "friends"...a month later my car gets totaled, Cinder bricks thrown threw it, egged, totally totaled. We did not put two and two together until eight months later...when the stupid ****s ask me for our police report because their son is getting harrased by who the **** knows....What!!?? My car gets totaled because they had the wrong house..(both our cars were red). WTF, I'm out $500 because of you! Get even time!...well everybody in the hood hates my cat...she is is stray that we take care of...she is sitting in my back yard during the summer just taunting their dogs...who are on a fully screened in porch...I am pretty sure that the dogs did about $500 damage to their screens. I quietly go outside and bring my cat in...****ers! They mentioned their screens to me...my reply, that sucks, you shouldn't leave your dogs out all day on a screened in porch...those squirrles drive them nuts!(I tried to make it short:lol:)

This will pass...keep on keep'n on, I get it, kids are the hardest job to ever have, no fricken handbook! but worth it!

Can't complain too much. DS took a dive headfirst off the couch into the fireplace yesterday. I saw him but I couldn't do anything to stop him. He was bleeding profusely from the mouth and was crying for 20 minutes. I took him to the ER where he was still crying. He ended up having a bruised mouth and two loose front teeth, but should be okay. We are going to the dentist today to make sure everything is okay. Just so happy it wasn't worse.

So glad it wasn't worse. My oldest son broke off his two front adult teeth and my youngest son chipped his front baby tooth. :surrender:

Kids! They give me white hairs. :surrender:

I'm with you on this one! My # 2 DS, who turned 5 today, has not taken a nap since right before he was 3. This bothered me WAY more than it affected him! Good Luck!
