please share a great asian dish for dinner that is easy to prepare. it's my turn to prepare dinner for my girls this weekend, i'll be serving dinner to 4 people.

Although it seems your question is just to get ppl to look at your sig, I'll bite.
I get my Asian dishes at the Dillions down the road, in their Chinese kitchen.
Sorry, I don't know the names, I just point and tell them what I want. :D

My kids loved the simplest dish - Orange Chicken. I can buy this already prepared orange chicken sauce by Panda Express and you just cut the chicken into bite size pieces, quickly saute them up in a small bit of olive oil, add the sauce when the chicken is about done, cook for another minute or two, done. :) I believe in simple.

Orange chicken is pretty awsome. And yes I am posting this just so you look at my signature.

But, I love sesame chicken with noodles. Here is a C&P of a decent recipe for you. YUMMY

ingredients
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
2 tsp. Asian garlic-chili sauce
2 6-oz. pkg. refrigerated grilled chicken breast strips
12 oz. dried udon noodles or whole-wheat spaghetti
3 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil
2 medium yellow, red and/or orange sweet peppers, cut in bite-size strips
Fresh cilantro
directions
1. In medium bowl stir together vinegar, green onions, honey, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic-chili sauce. Add chicken; stir to coat. Set aside to allow flavors to meld.

2. Meanwhile, in large saucepan cook noodles in boiling water about 8 minutes until just tender. Drain noodles well and return to saucepan. Drizzle with oil and toss to coat. Add chicken mixture and toss to combine.

3. Transfer to bowls. Top each with pepper strips and cilantro. Makes 6 servings.

I would love to try some new recipes too. i will keep watching this thread. I cannot use the above recipe as I am pure veg
