Finity, you can try a couple of things for a dual OS setup, and I may even try it.

Get two HDD's. Put on on the first IDE controller and one on the second. Install windows on one HDD and linux on the other. Use the BIOS to select booting from IDE0 or IDE1. It's a thought and will keep you from losing what you already have.
