I have gone through the Apple store and they offer a discount for me because I am a student. (Well, I am enrolled I start taking courses this Spring Semester :cartwheel

Oh and if you plan on getting one, make sure you buy it in Dupage to avoid the high taxes in Crook County.

My DH is a MAC snob too. Love em, we've gone through 2 of them in the past 10 yrs. Never get spam and I LUV Iphoto, plus their Tutuorials are always easy to follow. The Apple website offers refurbished MACs w/ warranties i believe.
