I think she posted earlier that the surgery was at 7:30 but they had to be at the hospital at 6:30.

Thank you everyone, surgery went well! It was quick and we were home by 10:00
Henry did well, his entire arm is wrapped up to the elbow so he can't get the dressing off and mess with the finger. He has a few sutures in the skin and in/on the nail when it was re-attached (ouch!). He didn't need to take the entire nail off, just lifted it up halfway to get the mole off. It was under the end of the nail/tip of the finger and just appeared one day when he was around 11 months old. So far so good, he doesn't seem too upset by it and is now taking a nap.

We'll see the surgeon on Monday and hopefully will get a good pathology report at that time - I'm not worried about that part of it, just glad the surgery is over and hoping for a pain free recovery.

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers and I will update when we get the pathology report next week.

Thank you for all of your warm thoughts and prayers - we had a post-op appointment and the pathology report is good -- it was a benign nevus.

Ds has been doing really well, not much complaining. He still has sutures in the nail/finger so it has to stay covered with a bandaid so he doesn't pull on them. He's healing well and hopefully his nail will be "normal."
