bash them right down into their lower case friends! i mean honestly, does anyone have a good reason to keep capital letters around other than to add EMPHASIS? i certianly can't think of any. it'd simplify writing 'cuz you'd never have to wonder if you should capitalize the word Earth, or God, or any other of the various capitalizable words. i say down with capital letters except for emPHAsis! :)

it would make life alot easier, specially when typing I suppose. I mean it doesn't really give anymore importance example:

God or god

they are both the same thing and in religion are both the saem word for a highly important thing, the fact that it's either got a capital or not makes no difference who made up that stipid grammar thing!!!

I'm going to use capital letters even though I hate them. It's correct in English, therefore I will continue to do so. Language evolves though, so you never know. The Romans wrote in all caps, perhaps we'll write in all lowercase one day.

TYPING LIKE THIS
vs
typing like this

Who knows.

TYPING IN CAPS USUALLY MEANS YOU ARE YELLING.

I still like using capital letters gramatically. Not necessarily for God or Canada...but at the beginning of sentences and whatnot...makes things look pretty.

I like using them for names too. When I want to disrespect someone in emails, I usually type their name all in lower-case, because they don't deserve the respect of having their name capitalized. That's just me though, and I don't even think that my friends pick up on it.

Also, for some reason, I really don't like seeing the lower case "i" free-standing...it bugs me, I don't know why.

I just really don't like it when people think its cool to TyPe LiKe ThIs... because capitalizing every second letter is obviously very chic...

Hmmm.... I guess using people's names is ok and I instead of i, I havent been putting up I instead of i is because I keep feeling lazy and just want to get my view across instead of putting it all up correctly.

I have to make a conscious effort NOT to type capital letters where they are supposed to be, so I don't mind them that much. My fingers automatically put them in, so it's actually faster for me to type using capital letters than it is to type without them.

I'm not sure....*types* yes actually it is better to type with caps. Maybe because I type for so much in english and things like that, well obviously you have to use caps and grammar properly. But yea it is easier then. But writing by hand I always cheat becauseit annoys my hand starts to hurt after a while

lol, i'm the complete the opposite! i rely on word or whatever i'm using to put caps on everything i type! it's so good about it :). i type an "i" and put a " " and it magically becomes "I". or put a "." and then type your next word and it gets a capital letter! if it wasn't for that i'd be screwed on the reports i wrote for school :).

i think this prolly came about 'cuz of my background in computer science where case is uber important, if you have the wrong case (upper or LOWER, hehe, did i mess with your mind there? :)) your code won't work. and caps end up in weird places like in varNameGoesHere1 (for variables, not important if you don't know what they are, suffice to say that caps appear all over the place). and since most programmers are lazy we don't want to have to go the extra mile and be pushing the shift key all the time :). i still say down with capital letters!

of course it's lazy! how much trouble is it to press the shift key every now and again? none, and i won't do it out of sheer principle lol ...lousy shift key...

ack...the caps button? then i'd be pushing a button before i type a letter and afterwords, that's TWO extra button pushes! as opposed to the zero that i'm working with right now :)
