GIVE ME A BREAK!! :cussing: It's almost MAY for Chrissakes!! Are people that lazy that they can't remove their Christmas decorations already??? I go by so many houses (my neighbors still has a little tree lit in white lights and a blue lighted reindeer in her front yard!!) with fake pine boughs, wreaths, fake Santas, plastic pointsettias and all kinds of tacky Christmas decor every day. Is it just the touwn I live in, or is it all over?

It's all over, and it drives me nuts! Why not hang a sign on your door, "I am a lazy ****!"

BASH BASH BASH!

people are too lazy to put up signs proclaiming their laziness lol.

like when i went to a fair for posters (like the kind you hang on a wall). i found one i liked and got in line to buy it and then saw across the room "The Procrastinators Code" or something. i kid you not, i thought to myself "cool, that's so me...i'll get it later" lol. true story

its not just where you are it happens in england too :)

but BASH!

That, and people who put up excessive amounts of Christmas lights. You know, the kind of decorations that can direct air traffic. My neighbor does this every year. They put a huge santa on the roof, wise men, camels, sheep, angels, all over the front yard. It's the only time of year when it can be midnight but still light out in my neighborhood. And every year the neighborhood kids steal some of the camels and sheep and things, just for ****s and giggles. They get scattered throughout the neighborhood. I woke up one morning to find a camel on the hood of my car. You think these people would get the hint already and just stick with lights and the santa.

ohh i hate those people you cant walk past the house without sunglasses

Well, I have spent thousands of dollars on Christmas decorations, and I light up my front yard (I have almost an acre of land) with all sorts of decorations. I am not directing this at you, and I know it is meant to be fun, but taking away decorations is wrong. I am sure that man works very hard, and perhaps the teenagers and young adults don't appreciate it, but I am sure children are awed at his display. Kids from all over the neighborhood come to see my display, and I know it makes them very happy. To play pranks on someone like that is not funny, considering how much money these decorations cost. One of those pranksters might find himself in jail when he takes a $200.00 sheep and gets arrested for larceny.

aawwww thats so nice nova would be cool to see it maybe you should take pics and put them on the site so i could see ^.^

Dig this one - the guy down the street who has all of that tacky plastic pine garland all over the place with the big faded Santa that's knocked on its side also has a HUGE pink blow-up bunny on the side of his yard, and plastic flowers stuck into UGLY white plastic swans!! It's an eyesore, I tell ya!

I think what ski is talking about are the "Chevy Chase Christmas Vacation" type people - you know, the ones who cause power outages. We go out of our way to decorate for Christmas too, for the same reasons you do, Nova. I like to think that our house is tastefully done, as I'm sure yours is. No one deserves to have their homages to Christmas stolen and desecrated, but sometimes you have to wonder what the hell these people are thinking! ESPECIALLY when they leave it all over the place all year long!! My stuff is gone by Jan. 10th.

people still have their lights up? What the heck? It's already past easter!

I know! It's CRAZY!! Because they're up all year, some still LIT, it takes away from Christmas time, when you WANT to see them! My real **** is all those tacky, faded plastic old Christmas displays, now laying all over the place like discarded trash.

hey, dont call us lazy!

efficiency experts god **** it! EFFICIENCY EXPERTS!

holy decorations batman! that's very cool nova. good job with the community spirit and whatnot :)

You have the same style of house as my mum does...though her christmas decorations do not compare (and yes, she only took them down last week.)

Nova has the house from Vacation! Just kidding, he does a great job decorating! On a serious note though, I also still see a lot of wreaths on people's doors and I was wondering what was up also. It it now acceptable to keep up a wreath all year long?

I dunno. It's pretty "white trashy" looking to me, but maybe I'm just not up on the current fashion rages these days.

Lol i think Nova's decorations do look very cool but I don't know I'm not into the whole decorations at xmas thing...
