Yeah, I agree that it should be allowed. The government just likes to have control over everything. Look at how they took down the big poker rooms. I am guessing it had a lot to do with the government not receiving their share of the money.
It makes no sense to ban online gambling. Think of how long gambling has been around, it's been around since the beginning of time. The only reason for it is greed really. It will eventually be legalized, but games like poker might not even be beatable if they charge a ridiculous rake %. It's wait and see at this point, I'm hoping for the best.
This is true. Betting on sports isn't harmful to anyone, other than maybe your bank account if you're stupid about it. I don't see what the problem is.
I do the Bet365 in-play real time betting online here in the UK. I usually place a bet on a football (soccer) game which I attempt to predict based on what happened in the first half of the match, I've had varying degrees of success.
Good question. I always wonder the same thing. Did they make it legal to place bets online again in the U.S.? I remember them making it illegal but I think some states had special privileges so they can set up betting sites now...I know NJ was trying to do this but I don't know if it succeeded.
I want to bet on some sports and the only site I know of is Bodog.
